§ 99.09 REMOVING DIRT OR SOD FROM STREETS OR SQUARES.
   No person shall cut or dig up any sod or turf in any of the streets or public squares except under the direction of the Board of Public Works; nor shall any person remove or carry away any sod or turf, cut or dig, contrary to the provisions of this section. No person shall take or remove any surplus or excavated material from the roadway of any street in the city, without the authority of the Board of Public Works or the Superintendent of Streets.
