§ 70.61 PAYMENT OF BAIL.

   (A)   When any person shall receive a parking ticket issued pursuant to § 70.60, the person may, within 14 days of the date of the ticket, pay to the Tax Collector the established fine for the parking violation involved and, upon payment of the amount, a prosecution under this chapter shall be barred. The fine designated for the offense charged may be paid either in person by appearing at the office of the Tax Collector in the city or by mailing a check or money order to: "Tax Collector, City of Waterbury, Waterbury, Connecticut".

   (B)   In the event any person fails to pay the fine or appeal the fine in accordance with § 70.63 of this code an additional fine will be established as set forth in § 70.55 or in the table of fees for parking violations promulgated by the Traffic Authority.
