§ 51.41 PERMIT REQUIRED TO UNCOVER OR OPEN PUBLIC SEWER; LICENSES.
   (A)   No unauthorized person shall uncover, make any connections with or opening into, use, alter or disturb any public sanitary or storm sewer or appurtenance thereof without first obtaining a written permit from the Plumbing Inspector. Written permits for new industrial connections or new connections discharging in excess of 5,000 gallons per day of domestic sewage shall be applied for at least 45 days prior to the proposed connection.

   (B)   The City Engineer shall issue licenses for the following:
      (1)   For sewer connections; and
      (2)   For constructing drainage system of buildings.

   (C)   All work for which a license is required by this section shall be performed by the licensee or his journeyman.
