(A) At the commencement of the procurement process, the using agency shall file either:
(1) With the Budget Director, a requisition for the acquisition of services, commodities or leases; or
(2) Other notice of intent to the Director of Purchasing according to policies or practices established by the Director of Purchasing.
(B) Upon commencing the procurement process for services to be performed on a covered project, as that term is defined in § 34.17, Definitions, of Chapter 34, entitled Hiring of Waterbury Residents on Certain Publicly-Funded Construction Projects (the “Good Jobs Ordinance”), of the Code of Waterbury, the using agency commencing the process shall provide written notice to the Administrator of the Good Jobs Ordinance that the procurement process has commenced and identify the covered project that is the subject of the procurement in question.
