(A) Attendance. Each department head shall be responsible for the attendance of all persons in his department and, accordingly, shall keep complete attendance records including vacation, sick, compensatory, overtime and the like. Records of attendance shall be reported as provided in § 37.005(B)(4) of the code of ordinances. Leave shall be authorized in units of days and hours only.
(B) Hours of work. The Mayor shall establish the work-week and work schedules for each department. The hours of work for the professional non-teaching personnel in the Department of Education shall be established by the Board of Education.
