Upon streets where angle parking is permitted, no person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle other than at the angle to the curb or edge of the roadway as is indicated by appropriate signs or markings. In addition, angle parking shall be permitted only on the side of the street in which the vehicle is traveling, thereby allowing the owner of the motor vehicle to park his vehicle in a “head- in” manner.
