(a) Any person, firm, corporation or association of persons desiring to sell household goods, equipment, utensils, appliances, furniture, personal clothing or effects or other similar personal property on any parcel of real property located in the City and classified as residential or has been used for residential purposes in any manner shall make application for a permit to the Building Commissioner on a form supplied by the Building Commissioner which shall contain the following information:
(1) Property address where the sale is to take place and the property owner’s full name, date of birth, address, email address, phone number.
(2) Applicant’s full name, date of birth, address, email address, phone number.
(3) Full name, date of birth, address, email address and phone number of the person in charge of the sale.
(4) Date(s) and hours of the sale.
(b) All permits issued under this chapter shall be valid for the approved date(s) of the sale.
(c) All permits issued under this chapter may be revoked for any of the following reasons:
(1) Any violation of this chapter.
(2) False, misleading or deceptive information provided in the permit application.
