(a) Self-service filling stations which are located less than one (1) mile from an interstate highway or freeway on-ramp or off-ramp may remain open twenty-four (24) hours a day in order to safely serve the motoring public.
(b) Self-service filling stations which are located more than one (1) mile from an interstate highway or freeway on-ramp or off-ramp shall cease all operations, including fueling and retail sales, between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. daily.
