8.08.160: GRADUATION OF FEES AND CHARGES:
The minimum charge provided for in section 8.08.150 of this chapter shall be made where a single service unit is utilized and no more than two (2) pick ups of garbage per week are required by the owner or occupant of the premises or the Superintendent in order to keep the particular premises in a sanitary condition. The charges may be graduated upward or downward depending on the number of pick ups per week required by the owner or occupant, and/or the Health Officer, in the interest of public health, and the amount of garbage to be hauled. The charge for removal and collection shall be set by the City Clerk in accordance with the recommendation of the appropriate committee of the Council, and shall be subject to change on thirty (30) days' notice.
