(a) The Director of Public Service and Safety or his or her designee shall give any contractor a notice, in writing, of any violation of the Building and Housing Code or any ordinance or other law, rule or regulation of the City. Such notice shall instruct such contractor to report to the Director of Public Service and Safety or his or her designee in regard to the violation and shall inform the contractor of the amount of the fee authorized under Section 1444.99.
(b) A contractor's registration may be revoked at any time by the Director of Public Service and Safety or his or her designee for violation of the Building and Housing Code or any ordinance or other law, rule or regulation of the City.
