§§ 17-3003 through 17-3007 shall only apply to non-residential development and to all multiple-family (three or more living unit) development where a new building is proposed as defined by this Title, or where an existing building is to be structurally altered to the extent of increasing its floor area by 50% or more. These sections, however, shall not apply to primary buildings having a floor area of under 2,500 square feet, to buildings having an agricultural use, or to detached accessory buildings. The provisions of this Article are not intended to supersede or exempt development from the plan requirements provided under other articles of this Zoning Ordinance, or other city provisions (e.g., building and fire codes), or the platting requirements of the Wamego Subdivision Regulations.
