Fire lanes shall be designated by the Building Official, Fire Official, or their designees, where the parking of motor vehicles or other obstructions are likely to interfere with the ingress and egress of the Fire Department vehicles for the protection of lives and property when required by this chapter for all occupancies, other than one- or two-family residences, as defined by the International Building Code.
