The purposes of this district are to:
(A) Recognize that the corridor is classified as an arterial street and is a major entryway into the city from the west;
(B) Recognize that this corridor is an appropriate location for non-residential uses, especially near the intersection of SR-57; and
(C) To allow for the development of appropriate non-residential uses in the corridor while simultaneously recognizing that there are existing residential uses adjacent to the corridor that need mitigation from the potential impacts of non-residential uses.
