§ 154.517 VIOLATIONS.
   (A)   No person shall violate or cause or permit to be violated any of the provisions of this chapter, or fail to comply with any of such provisions or with any lawful requirements of any public authority made pursuant to this section, or use or cause or permit the use of any lands in violation of this section or in violation of any permit granted under this section.
   (B)   The Director of Public Service, or his or her authorized representative, may issue a Stop Work Order/Order to Vacate so that all work within a riparian setback shall immediately cease and all encroachments shall be immediately removed in order to minimize damage to the riparian zone. Work may not proceed unless in compliance with all provisions of this chapter.
   (C)   The imposition of any penalties provided for by § 154.999 shall not preclude the city instituting an appropriate proceeding for injunction or other action in a court of proper jurisdiction to prevent an unlawful development, or to restrain, correct, or abate a violation, or to require compliance with the provisions of these sections or other applicable laws, ordinances, rules, regulations or the orders of the city.
