(A) The annual salary of the Director of Law shall be $97,084 for the calendar year 2023, $102,424 for the calendar year 2024, $105,497 for the calendar year 2025, and $108,662 for the calendar year 2026, and $111,922 for the calendar year 2027 and subsequent years, payable monthly. The Director of Law shall be considered a full-time employee of the city for purposes of health and life insurance.
(B) The Director of Law may appoint an Assistant Director of Law to be compensated at the rate of $42,624 for the calendar year 2023 and $44,524 for the calendar year 2024 and subsequent calendar years. Said Assistant Director of Law shall be considered to be a full-time employee of the city for purposes of health and life insurance.
(C) In the office of the Director of Law, there shall be two paralegals appointed by the Director of Law, who shall receive compensation in accordance with salary grade C-10 as set forth in § 35.47 of this chapter.
