The Citizens Cultural and Diversity Advisory Committee shall have all powers and duties necessary to accomplish the purpose stated in § 32.160, including the following:
(A) To provide a forum that will encourage input from our culturally diverse citizen group for reviewing and establishing our Township’s vision.
(B) To advocate and assist in the development of continuing educational programs for Township Committee and staff that will lead to a greater understanding of the value of a diverse community to the governance process.
(C) To provide outreach to the community in an effort to place the issue of diversity before our citizens in a positive manner.
(D) To identify obstacles that impede access to Township government for all of our community’s diverse members.
(E) To provide for the review and recommendation of culturally diverse members for consideration of appointment to the Committee’s various boards, commissions and task forces.
(F) To hold regular public meetings at least once a month and to keep a written record of its proceedings, which shall be a public record.
