Subject to the provisions of § 70.58, the Board of Public Works and Safety is authorized to erect signs upon the left-hand side of any one-way street to prohibit the standing or parking of vehicles, and when those signs are in place, no person shall stand or park a vehicle upon the left-hand side in violation of that sign.
