(A) Generally. All billboards shall be constructed in a safe and workmanlike manner, and in accordance with the following specifications.
(B) Specifications. The posts for the board shall be 5 inches top diameter, cedar post, to be placed at least 3 feet in the ground, solidly packed, and to be no further apart than 6 feet and extend to the top of the billboard or advertising board, the same to be protected by anchor posts to be not less than 4 inches x 4 inches in size, and to be placed at least 3 feet in the ground. Braces shall extend from each of the anchor posts to the posts to which the billboard or advertising board is to be attached, the same to be fastened not more than 2 feet from the top of the board. The braces to be not less than 2 feet x 4 inches in size and to be securely nailed and fastened at each end. All billboards or advertising boards shall be erected under the direction of the City Engineer who sees that they are constructed in a safe and workmanlike manner.
