632.06 RIGHT TO INFORMATION SIGNS; HAZARD COMMUNICATION PROGRAM.
   (a)   Every employer manufacturing, using or storing hazardous chemicals in the workplace shall post a sign in the form attached to original Ordinance 85-50, passed September 16, 1985, as Exhibit A, at the location or locations where notices to employees are normally posted, to inform employees that they or their designated representative has a right to information from the employer regarding the toxic or hazardous effects of the chemicals and the circumstances under which these effects may be produced.
 
   (b)   Each employer shall develop and implement a hazard communication program for his or her workplace which meets criteria specified in Sections 632.07 through 632.11 for labels and placards, material safety data sheets, employee information and training, and hazardous chemical lists. The employer may rely on an existing hazard communication program to comply with this subsection, provided that such existing program meets the criteria specified in such sections.
 
   (c)   Whoever violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. Punishment shall be as provided in Section 698.02.
