632.11 EMPLOYEE TRAINING AND EDUCATION PROGRAM.
   (a)   Every employer shall have an employee training and education program designed to provide to employees who may be exposed to hazardous substances or mixtures the information necessary to understand the hazards of the substances or mixtures; the hazard communication methods (labels, material safety data sheets, placards, etc.) used by the employer; appropriate work practices; protective measures; emergency procedures; and the means by which employees can receive information under this chapter. The specific hazards and circumstances of each work area should be taken into account in determining both the complexity of the content and the frequency of repetition of the required training and education program.
   In construction situations, such information must be given to the employee within six working days of the date the employee reports to a job site and may be in the form of a written notice.
   (b)   Every employer shall provide employees with, or post a copy of, Section 632.15 dealing with employee rights.
 
   (c)   Whoever violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. Punishment shall be as provided in Section 698.02.
