BILLIARD AND POOL TABLES, GAMING DEVICES
§ 110.01 LICENSE REQUIRED; FEE; APPEAL FROM DENIAL.
   (A)   All persons operating gaming devices, pool tables, or billiard tables for hire in the city shall obtain from the Clerk- Treasurer a license for each pool table, billiard table, or gaming device. The cost of said license shall be $5 for each billiard table, pool table, or gaming device for hire.
   (B)   Said license shall be held for a one-year period and must be renewed at the end of each one-year period.
   (C)   The Chief of Police is authorized to place stickers of appropriate nature on each device to show that the party operating said device has procured the proper license for that particular device.

   (D)   Any person who is denied a license, or who has his license repealed or revoked, may appeal such decision in the same manner as is set forth in § 112.27.
§ 110.02 HOURS OF OPERATION.
   It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to keep a poolroom, billiard room, shooting gallery, or similar amusement-type business, open to the public for business between the hours of 11:30 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. ('74 Code, § 113.02) (Ord. 1229, passed 10-5-31) Penalty, see § 110.99
§ 110.03 REVOCATION OF LICENSE; APPEAL.
   (A)   Upon the conviction of any person or persons for the violation of any provision of this subchapter, the license required to be obtained pursuant to § 110.01 above may be revoked.
   (B)   Any person whose license has been revoked hereunder shall not be entitled to apply for or receive any new license until the expiration of six months from the date such license was revoked.

   (C)   Any person who is denied a license, or who has his license repealed or revoked, may appeal such decision in the same manner as is set forth in § 112.27.
§ 110.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person whose license as required in § 110.01 has been revoked as provided for in § 110.03 and who shall continue to operate without a license shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined in any sum not more than $500 for each day that such person or persons are guilty of such violation.
   (B)   Anyone violating the provisions of § 110.02 shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined not more than $500 for each and every day such violation continues.
