All snowmobiles while being operated on the streets of the city shall have attached to the rear thereof, at a convenient point, a pole made of wood, metal, fiberglass, plastic, or similar material of suitable nature eight feet in length which pole shall have attached to the free end thereof a flag or pennant containing at least one square foot of a bright or reflective material and visible at a distance of at least 100 feet.
