§ 92.50 ENFORCEMENT.
   The City Police Chief, or other designated official, of the city is authorized to enforce all provisions of this subchapter and, in addition to criminal sanctions or civil remedies, may revoke any permit issued pursuant to this subchapter upon any failure or refusal of by the permit applicant to comply with the lawful orders and directives of the City Official or designee, or to comply with any provisions of this subchapter or the requirements of the community development code relating to temporary structures. Coordination with the local fire department is encouraged.

§ 92.51 RECKLESS DISCHARGE OR USE PROHIBITED.
   (A)   It is unlawful for any person to discharge or use fireworks in a careless or reckless manner which creates a substantial risk of death or physical injury to another person or damage to property of another.
   (B)   Violation of this section is subject to the penalties set forth in § 92.99 in addition to any other sanctions provided by law.

OUTDOOR BURNING
§ 92.65 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   BULK WASTE. Appliances (stoves, refrigerators, water tanks, washing machines, dryers), furniture, mattress, box springs, carpet and other similar waste materials.
   CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS. Waste building materials resulting from construction, remodeling, repair or demolition operations.
   DOMESTIC WASTE (HOUSEHOLD TRASH OR RUBBISH). Those wastes that normally result from the activities of life within a residence (including, but not limited to, kitchen garbage, cardboard boxes, packaging and clothing).
   EXTINGUISHED. The absence of any visible flames, glowing coals or smoke.
   LAWN MAINTENANCE OR LAND CLEARING WASTE. Grass clippings, leaves, branch trimmings, trees, brush and other plant overgrowth.
   RECREATION, CEREMONY, COOKING OR WARMTH. Used exclusively for recreational or ceremonial purposes, in the non-commercial preparation of food, or as a means to provide warmth in cold weather.

§ 92.66 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS.
   (A)   Begin burning no earlier than one hour after sunrise, and end the same day, no later than one hour before sunset.
   (B)   Burning must be attended until extinguished.
   (C)   Residual fires or smoldering embers must be extinguished.
   (D)   Remaining debris from burning must be disposed of.
   (E)   Burning must not cause a traffic hazard.
   (F)   Burning shall not contain any prohibited materials.

§ 92.67 KINDS OF OUTDOOR BURNING ALLOWED.
   Kinds of outdoor burning allowed:
   (A)   Lawn maintenance or land-clearing waste (not including prohibited materials);
   (B)   Construction debris (not including prohibited materials); and
   (C)   Recreation, ceremony, cooking or warmth (not including prohibited materials).

§ 92.68 MATERIALS PROHIBITED FROM BURNING.
   Materials prohibited from burning at any time (including, but not limited to):
   (A)   Domestic waste;
   (B)   Bulk waste;
   (C)   Construction or demolition debris that contains prohibited materials metal wiring, shingles or other asphaltic or petroleum based products;
   (D)   Chemical waste;
   (E)   Potentially explosive materials such as batteries and aerosol cans;
   (F)   Asphalt materials such as shingles;
   (G)   Rubber products (natural or synthetic) such as tires, electrical wiring insulation;
   (H)   Fiberglass products;
   (I)   Glass products or containers;
   (J)   Metal cans or containers;
   (K)   Plastics;
   (L)   Oil products such as heavy oil, machine oil, motor oil, transmission fluids and the like; and
   (M)   Any petroleum-based products not specifically identified above.
