§ 51.03 TAMPERING WITH OR DAMAGING EQUIPMENT.
   (A)   No user of the system or any other person shall tamper, adjust, damage, or in any manner interfere with the components or operation of the water system owned by the village and the shutoff valve shall be opened only by a duly authorized representative of the village and the user shall be responsible and shall reimburse the village for the actual cost of repairing any damage arising from the user’s act.
   (B)   No unauthorized persons shall maliciously, wilfully, or negligently break, damage, destroy, uncover, deface, or tamper with any structure, appurtenance, or equipment which is a part of the waterworks or system.
   (C)   Any person violating the provisions of either divisions (A) or (B) above shall be subject to immediate arrest under a charge of disorderly conduct.
   (D)   In addition to the penalty set forth in division (C) above, the user shall report any known evidence of tampering, adjusting, damaging, interfering, or defacing of any portion of the water system or interference with operation of the system owned by the village to the President of the Board of Trustees.
