(A) Any person exempted by the laws of this state from the payment of a license fee shall, before beginning the business described in § 111.01, present to the Sheriff his credentials, showing that he is entitled to such exemption, and the Sheriff shall issue such license forthwith without such fee. No certificate issued under the provisions of this section shall be transferable.

(B) The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to sales of seeds or fertilizers to farmers, sales of vegetables, fruits or other articles of food raised, prepared, cultivated or produced by the seller, or to the sale of religious works.
