§ 51.020 COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL, STATE, OR COUNTY REQUIREMENTS.
   (A)   The type, capacities, location, and layout of a private sewage disposal system shall comply with all recommendations of the State Private Sewage Disposal Licensing Act and Code, with the State Environmental Protection Agency, and with the County Department of Health Specifications. No permit shall be issued for any private sewage disposal system employing subsurface soil absorption facilities where the area of the lot is less than 40,000 square feet (3,716 square meters). No septic tank or cesspool shall be permitted to discharge to any natural outlet.
   (B)   All disposal by any person into the sewer system is unlawful except those discharges in compliance with Federal Standards promulgated pursuant to the Federal Act and more stringent state and local standards.
   (C)   No statement contained in this section shall be construed to interfere with any additional requirements that may be imposed by the local health officer.
