6-1-3: EXAMINE ENTRANCES AND EXITS OF PUBLIC BUILDINGS:
It shall be the duty of police officers at all times, when on duty, to make a careful examination of the front and rear entrances to all public places of businesses after the closing hour of business for the day and when closed at any other time to the general public, and determine from said examination whether said entrances are securely locked, bolted and fastened, and to examine all windows in said public places of businesses that can be reached from the street by extending hand.
