5-1-3: CHIEF OF FIRE DEPARTMENT; DUTIES:
   A.   Keep Record Of Members, Inventory Of Property: The chief of the fire department shall cause to be kept a roll or record of the members thereof, specifying the time of admission and discharge or resignation of each member, and a record or inventory of all the city's property entrusted to their care. (1977 Code § 2.30.030)
   B.   Records Subject To Inspection: Said rolls and records shall at all times be subject to the inspection of the mayor, fire committee of the city council or any council member of the city. (1977 Code § 2.30.030; amd. Ord. 311-09, 4-28-2009)
   C.   Annual Report To Council: On or before the first Monday in May of each year, said chief shall make a report to the city council giving the names of the members of the department and the officers thereof and the condition and serviceableness of the fire apparatus and equipment, and such other information thereof as may be necessary to an intelligent understanding of true conditions prevailing in said department in order to promote the highest efficiency therein as may be possible.
