Applications for ambulance certificates shall be accepted and processed pursuant to the regulations set forth in Division III the EMRM. If a Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement is executed between the City and the County for the County to perform the licensing services required by this section, then the certificate required shall be that issued by the Board in accordance with the provisions of this section and the Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement.
