The city engineer shall be notified at least twenty four (24) hours before construction begins. Construction shall begin only after approval of construction plans and payment of the review and inspection fee as set forth in section 11-5-3 of this chapter. Whenever construction stops for twenty four (24) hours or longer, the city engineer shall be notified twenty four (24) hours before construction begins again. (Ord. 2831, 3-3-1998)
