ADOPTING ORDINANCE

ORDINANCE NO. 2492

   ORDINANCE ADOPTING TAYLORVILLE CITY CODE OF 1993

   WHEREAS, the CITY OF TAYLORVILLE is desirous of adopting a new Taylorville City Code, and

   WHEREAS, the CITY OF TAYLORVILLE has compiled a new codification of ordinances to be published in book form, published by authority of the City Council of the City of Taylorville, Illinois, now therefore,

   BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAYLORVILLE, ILLINOIS:

   SECTION 1. The City of Taylorville does hereby approve and adopt the TAYLORVILLE CITY CODE OF 1993.

   SECTION 2. Said TAYLORVILLE CITY CODE OF 1993 shall be published in book form, published by authority of the City Council of the City of Taylorville.

   SECTION 3. This Ordinance adopting the TAYLORVILLE CITY CODE OF 1993 shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication in book form as provided by statute.

   SECTION 4. The TAYLORVILLE CITY CODE OF 1993, printed in book form, and published by authority of the corporate authorities of the City of Taylorville, shall be prima facie evidence of the contents, passage, and legal publication of such ordinances, as of the date mentioned in such book, in all courts and administrative tribunals.

   SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.

   PASSED AND APPROVED this 15th day of March, A.D. 1993 by a roll call vote of 8 in favor and 0 opposed.
