8-3-2: CEMETERY SEXTON:
   A.   Appointment: The Mayor shall appoint, with the advice and consent of the City Council, a Cemetery Superintendent to care for the Oak Hill Cemetery.
   B.   Duties:
      1.   Generally: The Cemetery Superintendent shall have charge of the care and the maintenance of Oak Hill Cemetery ("cemetery") and shall perform his duties under the supervision of the Board of Cemetery Managers for Oak Hill Cemetery ("Board of Cemetery Managers") and according to the rules and regulations established by such Board, from time to time, for such care and maintenance. In addition, the Cemetery Superintendent shall perform such other duties as may be assigned to him from time to time by the Mayor and City Council.
      2.   Dig Graves: The Cemetery Superintendent shall dig or cause to be dug all graves for burials in the cemetery. Such graves shall be constructed according to the rules and regulations of the Board of Cemetery Managers.
      3.   Records and Reports: The Cemetery Superintendent shall keep a plat and purchase price of each lot which shall conform to that required to be kept by the City Clerk. The Cemetery Superintendent shall make a report to the City Clerk each month of lots sold so that the City Clerk's records can be suitably marked and kept up to date. The Cemetery Superintendent shall make an entry into an appropriate book of the name, sex and color of each body interred in the cemetery, with the date of death, cause of death, age and residence of deceased.
   C.   Salary: The hours of employment, salary, benefits, and associated costs of the Cemetery Superintendent shall be as determined by the City Council from time to time.
