8-2-1: DEFINITIONS:
When used in this chapter, the following words and terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section:
   PUBLIC TREES: Trees, shrubs, bushes and all other woody vegetation in public areas and all areas owned or maintained by the city or to which the public has free access.
   STREET TREES: Trees, shrubs, bushes and all other woody vegetation on land lying between property lines on either side of all streets, avenues or ways within the city. (Ord. 2300, 9-6-1988)
