5-4-4-4: SKATEBOARDING, ROLLERSKATING, AND ROLLERBLADING PROHIBITED IN CERTAIN AREAS:
   A.   It is unlawful for any person to travel on or use or operate or stand on or sit on or ride on any skateboard or to travel on or use or operate or stand on or wear any roller skates or rollerblades at the following locations within the city:
      1.   On the city public library property or any public sidewalk located immediately adjacent to the city public library property or on such portion of Washington Street which is located between Poplar Street and Vine Street;
      2.   On any public street or on any public sidewalk or on any city property located on or within the Taylorville public square;
      3.   On any public street or alleyway or on any public sidewalk or on any city property located within the following described square block area: the square block area bounded on the north by Vine Street, bounded on the south by Franklin Street, bounded on the east by Walnut Street, and bounded on the west by Webster Street.
   B.   Any person or persons found to have been in violation of any of the terms or provisions of this section shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined or punished in accordance with section 1-4-1 of this code; and a separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day that a violation occurs or continues.
