5-4-4-2: OPEN WELLS OR EXCAVATIONS 1 :
It shall be unlawful to permit any well or any other similar excavation to remain uncovered excepting on premises secured by a fence of at least six feet (6') in height with all doors on entrances to such premises locked. (1979 Code Ch. 24, Art. IV, § 28)
