It shall be unlawful to cast, throw or propel any missile on any street, alley or other public place, and it shall be unlawful to throw or deposit any glass, nails, tacks or other similar articles on any street, sidewalk, alley or other public place in the city. (1979 Code Ch. 24, Art. IV, § 13)
