Each such liquor license shall terminate on April 30 next following the date of issuance. The liquor license fee to be paid shall be paid in full prior to issuance or renewal of a liquor license; and such liquor license fee shall not be reduced or prorated because such liquor license was issued or renewed on any calendar day other than May 1 of any year.
Notwithstanding the foregoing and only because of the current COVID-19 pandemic, applicants for issuance or renewal of liquor licenses issued or renewed after May 1, 2020 but prior to June 1, 2020 may pay the full annual license fee for such liquor license in two installments as follows: one-third (1/3) of the full license fee shall be paid on or before June 1, 2020; and the remaining two-thirds (2/3rds) of the full license fee shall be paid on or before July 1, 2020.
