Every licensee hereunder shall cause the following warning message to be posted and maintained during the entire term of the license issued hereunder in a conspicuous place on the licensed premises at or adjacent to each cash register:
WARNING TO MINORS
A MINOR WHO PURCHASES OR ATTEMPTS TO PURCHASE ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR, OR WHO POSSESSES ANY FALSE EVIDENCE OF AGE, MAY BE GUILTY OF A CLASS "A" MISDEMEANOR AND MAY BE SUBJECT TO CRIMINAL PENALTIES, INCLUDING A FINE UP TO TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($2,500.00).
The City Clerk shall furnish the licensee posters for displaying such warning message. (Ord. 3223, 4-4-2005; amd. Ord. 3943, 2-18-2020)
