9.61.200: RULES FOR OFF LEASH AREA:
   A.   The rules for the off leash area are set forth below:
      1.   All dogs must be on a leash except in the off leash area.
      2.   All dogs using the off leash area must be wearing a current license tag and off leash area permit/tag and be current on all required immunizations unless exempt by title 8 of this Code.
      3.   Dog defecation must be immediately cleaned up by the person handling, harboring, exercising control or possession of such dog, and the defecation must be placed in a proper trash receptacle.
      4.   Aggressive dogs and dog owners are prohibited from the off leash area.
      5.   Dogs in the off leash area must be under the supervision of a person over the age of twelve (12).
      6.   Female dogs in heat and dogs under the age of four (4) months are not allowed in the off leash area. No animals except canines are allowed in the off leash area.
      7.   Persons handling, harboring, exercising control or possession of dogs are required to quiet their barking dogs or remove them from the park area and are also required to stop dogs from digging and must repair all damage that occurs.
      8.   No food (human or animal) is allowed in the off leash area.
      9.   Dogs are not allowed in the tot lot area.
      10.   The off leash area hours shall be as stated in section 9.61.020 of this chapter.
      11.   Violators of these rules shall be punished as set forth in section 9.61.220 of this chapter.
      12.   It is unlawful for any person at any one time to harbor, exercise control, or have in his possession more than two (2) dogs in the off leash area.
   B.   The rules shall be posted in a conspicuous place in the off leash area and shall include the following disclaimer:
Any person who brings a dog into the off-leash area assumes the legal responsibility for any damage, disease, or injury to persons, other dogs, or property caused by the dog. Utilizing this off-leash area constitutes your acceptance of the above cited rules, and your willingness to assume personal responsibility for any and all injuries arising from the use of the off-leash area. If you are unwilling to obey these rules or assume these risks, for yourself, or for those under your supervision, you should not use the off- leash area.
