(A) It shall be unlawful for any truck over 36,000 pounds gross weight (including the load) to travel on or use any of the streets of the city as a thoroughfare, except in connection with and in the ordinary course of business, such as loading, unloading, or performing a service for a resident or business of the city.
(B) This section shall not apply to trucks traveling on state or county roads within the city.
