The scheme or plan for numbering houses and street entrances to buildings in the City, prepared by the Engineer, and shown by the street number map filed in the office of the Engineer on October 6, 1924, is hereby approved and said map is hereby adopted as the Official Street Number Map of the City.
The Official Street Number Map shall be kept in the office of the Engineer and the Engineer shall, upon the application of the owner or occupant of any house or building in this City, furnish him with a memorandum of the correct numbers of each of its street entrances, after the owner or occupant has furnished the Engineer with a correct description of the property built upon.
