A duplicate business tax certificate may be issued by the collector to replace any business tax certificate previously issued under this chapter which has been lost or destroyed upon the business tax certificate holder filing statement of such fact, and at the time of filing such statement paying the collector a duplicate fee of ten dollars ($10.00), and must be paid at the time the request is made.
