No Board member, employee, officer or agent of the town, nor immediate family member, business partner or organization which employs or is about to employ any person as set forth in § 31.03 shall be pecuniarily interested directly or indirectly, in the selection, award or administration of any contract made or entered into by the town, nor in any matter which the rights or liabilities of the town are or may be involved.
