(A) In subdivisions located in residential zoning districts, a
at least 20 feet in depth, in addition to normal
or width required, shall be provided adjacent to all major and
highways, and industrial and
or zoning districts. The following notation should be provided on the face of the
: “This strip is reserved for the planting of trees or shrubs by the ; the of structures hereon is prohibited”.
(B)
areas required by this section shall contain a solid
or wall, or evergreen hedge of at least six feet in height. Such
, wall, or hedge shall be maintained in good condition and the
shall be at least three feet in height at the time of planting.
(C) In subdivisions with
, the homeowners or property
shall be responsible for the maintenance of the area. In subdivisions with
, the area shall be dedicated to the town for maintenance.
(D) The area specified in division (A) of this section shall not be required if, at the time of
approval, an adequate area currently exists on the adjacent property.
