121.01 ACCEPTANCE OF MANDATORY DRUG FINES.
   (a)   The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to accept cash from the mandatory drug fines imposed on convicted drug offenders in accordance with the provisions of Ohio R.C. 2925.03(J) and (K).
   (b)   The Mayor is hereby directed to place all cash received into a special Law Enforcement Mandatory Drug Fund with the Fiscal Officer to be used solely for the Village Police Department for law enforcement efforts pertaining to drug offenses. Such fund shall be separate and apart from the special fund established in Section 121.02. (Ord. 92-02. Passed 2-5-92.)
121.02 CONTRABAND SEIZURE.
   (a)   The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to accept cash, vehicles and other property in accordance with the Contraband Seizure Forfeiture Act Ohio R.C. 2933.43; provided, however, any acceptance of real estate by the Mayor shall be subject to approval by ordinance of Council.
   (b)   The Mayor is hereby directed to place all cash received into a special Law Enforcement Trust Fund with the Fiscal Officer to be used solely for law enforcement purposes. Such fund shall be separate and apart from the special fund established in Section 121.01.
   (c)   All vehicles and property be either assetted to the Police Department to be used solely for law enforcement purposes, or sold and the proceeds from the sale deposited in the special Law Enforcement Trust Fund, as directed by the Chief of Police.

121.03 MUNICIPAL MAYOR’S COURT COMPUTER FUND.
   (a)   There is hereby created a Mayor’s Court computer fund into which shall be deposited cash or proceeds from cases heard in the Sunbury Mayor’s Court.
   (b)   Proceeds received hereunder are designated by Council to be used only for payment for the court computer and for any updates or maintenance required therefor.
   (c)   The amount of the fee to be collected on a per case basis is hereby set and designated at the amount of ten dollars ($10.00), subject to modification by Council.

121.04 SPENDING AUTHORITY OF MAYOR.
   The authority of the Mayor to execute contracts and expenditures shall be limited to contracts or expenditures that are ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) or less in value.
