§ 50.03 WATER USE RATES.
   (A)   Unmetered rates. Unmetered rates for 3/4-inch and 1-inch connections to the Water Supply System shall be as established by resolution of the Township Board from time to time, and as set forth in the records kept by the Township Clerk in the Township Hall.
   (B)   Metered rates and commercial rates. Metered and commercial rates shall be as established by resolution of the Township Board from time to time, and as set forth in the records kept by the Township Clerk in the Township Hall.
   (C)   Water meters. Persons connecting to the Summit Township Water Supply System shall purchase meters from the township and pay a meter fee as established by resolution of the Township Board from time to time, and as set forth in the records kept by the Township Clerk in the Township Hall.
   (D)   Fire hydrant rental. For water use through fire hydrants and for the availability of the water, the township shall pay an annual hydrant rental charge of $10,000, which may be paid in equal quarterly installments.
   (E)   Billing.
      (1)   Bills for water service shall be rendered quarterly on June 1, September 1, January 1, and April 1 of each year and shall be payable without penalty within 30 days after the billing date.
      (2)   Payments received after the period shall bear a penalty of 10% of the amount of the bill.
   (F)   Turn-on charge. There shall be no turn-on fee for the initial turn-on of water when premises connect to the System, but thereafter there shall be a turn-on fee in the amount of $30 for any premises having the water shut off from the premises and subsequently turned on to the premises.
