(EDITOR’S NOTE: See Section 303.99 for general Traffic Code penalty and penalties applicable to misdemeanor classifications.)
(a) Whoever violates Section 351.11 shall be fined not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) for the first offense and not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) for a second offense. Whoever violates Section 351.11 as a second offense or an offense subsequent thereto, shall be imprisoned not less than three nor more than ten days. (Ord. 89-8623. Passed 2-1-89.)
(b) (1) Whoever violates any section or regulation pertaining to parking in any other place specifically prohibited by this Traffic Code or any other law, ordinance or regulation limiting the time or parking, or forbidding parking or regulating parking, shall be fined ten dollars ($10.00) for each violation and any violator who fails to pay such fine after seventy-two hours shall be charged twenty dollars ($20.00). Any violator who neglects to pay such charge of twenty dollars ($20.00), on or after thirty days, shall be charged the sum of thirty dollars ($30.00) plus costs and non payment penalty.
(2) Whoever parks in a designated handicap parking area shall be fined fifteen dollars ($15.00) within three days, thirty dollars ($30.00) after three days, and fifty dollars ($50.00) after thirty days.
(3) Whoever fails to pay such parking violations after thirty days shall be assessed the following charges in addition to the fine:
Nonpayment penalty: $25.00
Court costs: $35.00
