351.11 PARKING OF COMMERCIAL VEHICLES.
   (a)    Definitions.
      (1)   "Commercial Vehicle" means any self-propelled or towed motor vehicle and/or trailer that is or has any of the following:
         A.   A gross vehicle weight rating or gross combination weight rating, or gross vehicle weight or gross combination weight, of 4,536 kg (10,001 pounds) or more, whichever is greater;
         B.   Designed or used to transport more than 8 passengers, including the driver, for compensation;
         C.   Designed or used to transport more than 15 passengers, including the driver, and is not used to transport passengers for compensation;
         D.   Used in transporting hazardous material;
         E.   Dual rear wheels per each axle side and the vehicle does not permanently maintain a natural factory built pickup truck bed; or
         F.   Tandem rear axles of any design.
      (2)   "Residential District" means all districts within the City that are designated as residential in the Zoning Ordinance contained in Title VII of the Codified Ordinances.
   (b)    Except as otherwise provided in this section, no Commercial Vehicle shall be stored or parked on any premises or public roadway located in a Residential District.
   (c)    Exceptions. A Commercial Vehicle may be stored or parked on any premises or public roadway located in a Residential District for a reasonable period of time to make deliveries and/or maintain, repair, improve or construct within the Residential District.
      (1)   If a Commercial Vehicle must be stored or parked on any premises or public roadway located in a Residential District to maintain, repair, improve or construct, the Commercial Vehicle must be removed immediately upon completion of business.
      (2)   If a Commercial Vehicle must be stored or parked on a public roadway located in a Residential District to maintain, repair, improve or construct, safety cones must be placed around the Commercial Vehicle.
