1351.04 EXCEPTIONS; ATTACHED DISPLAY SIGN.
   The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to a sign upon which is inscribed the name of the proprietor and the nature of his business nor to a wall sign not exceeding one square foot of display surface on a resident's building stating merely his name and profession or occupation, nor shall the provisions of Sections 1351.01 to 1351.04 apply to a ground sign advertising sale and rental of premises upon which it is maintained, nor to street signs erected by the City, nor to temporary signs or circulars legally authorized. It is further provided that in this category of exceptions all necessary measures shall be undertaken to protect the public against any accident or injury.
