The Domestic Abuse Commission shall consist of nine members appointed by the Mayor. Council recommends that the appointments to the Domestic Abuse Commission be representative of the following: Mayor’s Office (1), City Council (1), Law Department (1), Strongsville Police Department (2), Strongsville City School District (1), Berea Municipal Court (1), Strongsville Women’s League (1) and one (1) residents of the City of Strongsville. Council recommends that the representatives, wherever possible, be from the policy making level of the group represented. The term of each member shall be three years.
